The ____Brunch project comprises images and simulations, each addressing a unique material quality of the same scanned scene.

​

Soft, gradient light cast on smooth surfaces of Platonic geometries. Subtle, mild colors diffuse in the air. A slight frosty gloss. This is the imagery allusion to intimacy, a cheap source of love and care. It arouses imaginations of tender touches, soothing aroma, and gentle whispers. The image is in an instantaneous entanglement with human faculties and emotions. It fabricates the utmost delicate fantasy rendering reality less desirable. Toward the fabricated empathy, the image is exquisitely biased.

柔和、渐变的光线投射在几何体的光滑表面上；微妙、温和的颜色在空气中弥散；微微泛起的冷光。这些是图像塑造的靡靡假象，是爱和关怀的廉价来源。它唤起人们对温柔抚摸、舒缓的香气和轻曼耳语的向往。图像能与人的感官和情感瞬间纠缠在一起。它虚构出巧夺天工的幻境，往往让现实也相形见绌。
然而它确确实实是粉刷出来的假象。重重叠叠的函数相互矫正来勾画出一个甜蜜的仙境。图像巧妙地背离真实，以精确地唤醒我们的共情。
