Architects see the city through their disciplined eyes and touch it with their mechanized bodies. Such discipline and mechanization are partially embodied in drawing, the ritual of translating what is out there onto a piece of paper, and more precisely, in the art of projection. Through rigorous operations, architects not only abstract reality but also construct a new one.

The studio comprises four workshops, each tackling drawing and projection through a different exercise. Students design and make drawing instruments, translate the cityscape into 2D/3D representations and speculate on an alternative space.
