The city is a theatre of endless plays, interweaving both people and materials. The experience of a city resembles that of viewing a collage painting composed of heterogeneous elements, each juxtaposed with the other. However complex and entangled, there are threads of narratives weaving the space and events into an intricate mesh. The city is a synthesis of everything.

This studio studies how the city changes over time. The city provides stages for endless events that involve people and materials, yet they require a keen observer to piece together a meaningful sequence. Using drawings, students documented events and curated them into a narrative. They identified journeys in the myriad of spaces and events and explicated the city from the voyager’s point of view.
